Happy 2025!

I'm in near disbelief, because the past 365 days has probably been the craziest roller coaster of my life yet.

2024 started with dread, worry and fear. Getting me a few white hairs in that first 3 months.

Then magic happened in April. And it just became better and better there.

Then the year ended so beautifully good. I've never been more grateful and totally immersed in gratitude.

I believe in the power of attracting what you truly desire and it worked so well.

Here's to an even better year in 2025:

  1. Wake up early. There’s a different kind of peace in those hours that belong just to you.

  2. Find your version of prayer. Sometimes talking to something bigger than your worries helps them feel smaller.

  3. Move your body when your mind gets too loud. Your body knows the way back to peace.

  4. Write down your thoughts. They’re trying to tell you something important.

  5. Take five deep breaths when things feel heavy. Your breath has been keeping you alive this whole time — it knows what it’s doing.

  6. Sit with yourself, even on the messy days. Especially on the messy days.

  7. Keep a list of people who light up different parts of you.

  8. Notice what makes you jealous — it’s usually pointing to something your heart wants to explore.

  9. Pay attention to what draws you to certain friends. They’re often reflecting back parts of you that are ready to grow.

  10. Rest like it matters. Everything’s harder when you’re running on empty.

  11. Start a morning ritual. Create a container for the day that feels like yours.

  12. Do one thing daily that builds trust with yourself. (I’m doing 100 push-ups — find your own thing.)

  13. Talk to your parents about things that matter. The hard conversations are usually the ones worth having.

  14. Keep asking yourself better questions. The answers grow as you do.

  15. Let go of grudges. They’re heavy, and your heart needs the space for better things.

  16. Host simple gatherings. Real connections happen when we stop trying to make everything perfect.

  17. Read books that make you feel less alone. Sometimes the right words find you when you need them.

  18. Take notes on things that light you up. Your enthusiasm is trying to show you your path.

  19. Write to understand yourself. Not to sound smart, just to sound true.

  20. Walk without a destination sometimes. Some thoughts only find you when you’re moving.

  21. Take long showers when you need to reset. Some clarity only comes with hot water and quiet.

  22. Live more in today. Tomorrow’s worries can wait; this moment has gifts too.

  23. Focus on one thing at a time. Presence is a practice.

  24. Create something, anything. Expression is medicine for soul.

  25. Dress in ways that feel like you. Your body deserves to feel at home in what it wears.

  26. Reply to messages mindfully. Clear inbox, clearer mind.

  27. Take responsibility for the energy you bring. Some days that means being gentle with yourself.

  28. Lead with kindness. Notice how kindness changes things. Everyone’s carrying something we can’t see.

  29. Spend time in nature. Trees don’t care about your to-do list.

  30. Listen like you might miss something beautiful. You probably will.

  31. Write notes of appreciation. Tell people what they mean to you while you can.

  32. Work from new places sometimes. Different spaces wake up different parts of you.

  33. Try new restaurants. Small adventures count too.

  34. Learn something with your hands. Digital wisdom is great, but your hands have their own kind of knowing.

  35. Make playlists for different parts of yourself. Let music say what words can’t.

  36. Keep your bedroom a sanctuary. You need somewhere to land when the world gets too loud.

  37. Find your signature scent. Let your presence be a subtle kind of poetry.

  38. Have different walking routes for different moods. Some paths help you think, others help you forget.

  39. Save things that make you genuinely laugh. Joy deserves documentation too.

  40. Learn one thing deeply. Become someone people call when they need that specific light.

  41. Track what you’ve done, not just what needs ot be done. You’re probably growing more than you realize.

  42. Build a small emergency fund. Peace of mind creates space for bigger dreams.

  43. Learn to cook one thing that feels like home. Food has a way of grounding us when nothing else can.

  44. Keep a digital scrapbook of what moves you. Memory is a form of self-love.

  45. Practice saying no when things don’t feel right. Boundaries are how you honor your yes.

  46. Express gratitude for the small things. The ordinary moments are where life really lives.

  47. Give yourself permission to change your mind.

  48. Get comfortable with not knowing. Mystery is part of the journey.

  49. Define success on your own terms. Your path doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s.

  50. Trust the timing of your growth. Some flowers bloom late, and they’re no less beautiful for it.

Never too early nor late to learn

  1. Passion is a love of life not an obsession over someone or something. If you love life you’ll do your best to exercise and stay healthy. If you love life; you’ll see others for the miracle they are, even if they are mean or don’t particularly like you. If you love life; you’ll love to share how great things are with friends. If you love life; your partner will know how wonderful you think they are, and will love your passion.
  2. Be kind. If you’re kind you’ll never lack true friends. Be kind to yourself. Forgive yourself when you mess up. Be kind to those less fortunate than you. Be kind to those that depend on you to do the right thing. Being kind doesn’t mean others won’t sometimes betray you. But friends of mean people are always looking to betray them.
  3. Defy authority or temptress if they ask you to be mean. If they ask you to Betray those counting on you, don’t do it; no matter the promised payoff. If you do, you’ll become their slave. I’ve seen many live in big mansions, have money and cars but at the end of the day they were some evil persons slave or became that evil person themselves. I have also seen many ruin their lives, and their kids lives for a life of misery for excitement of cheap cheating sex.
  4. Forgiving people helps you more than it helps them. Move on.
  5. You can rebuild if you’ve kept your passion and love of life you can find other things to be passionate about if you grow too old or lose a position or you simply fail at something.
  6. Be vulnerable but do so with your heart, mind and life. Life will always ask you to take risk, you cannot hide from risk. Choose those risk wisely. You can never have anything you will value without taking risk.
  7. Perfectionism has great opportunity cost. If you only do things you can be perfect at you will never be great at anything. Greatness requires you to learn and build on failure. Perfectionism guarantees a failed life.
  8. Life is full of misery and suffering for all, but don’t let that define you. Let your life be defined by , your Loyalty, Kindness and Passion.
  9. Curiosity helps you enjoy the abundance of the world and knowledge show you all the miracle around that are still deep mysteries Giving helps you appreciate that abundance in your life.
  10. Find someone you can love completely. But there is nobody perfect for you. Perfectionism in choosing a partner is futile and ensures failure. Don’t play games or try to manipulate people as that’s not Love either.
  11. You can live your life either as if Life itself is and everything in Life is a miracle or nothing in life is. Choosing Life as a miracle is much more enjoyable.

What are some unwritten rules of everyday life?

  1. Let people know if you are late. It only takes you 15 seconds to write a message that can save them minutes of waiting. Do this as soon as you know.
  2. Never hold back a Laugh. No matter how obnoxious or weird your laugh might be. The world needs more joy.
  3. Don’t force your Beliefs on others. You may certainly talk about them and try your best to convince them of your beliefs. But if they say ‘No’ respect that.
  4. You can disagree without fighting. The other person is not suddenly a villain for having a single belief that contradicts your own.
  5. When a child shows you something you have to act amazed. Even if it is the most mundane thing in the world, you must show excitement.
  6. On that note: Tea Time is a requirement. I do not care how manly you are. You will sit down in a chair that’s WAY too small and will enjoy some fake tea.
  7. Always ask before Petting a Dog. Some dogs are in training and should not be petted. It is not your animal or your responsibility. Be respectful.
  8. Pick up after your pets. At least if it is somewhere where people walk.
  9. When you see someone needing help, Help them. There is such a thing as the ‘Bystander Effect’ in which people will walk right by those in need. Be the one that takes responsibility. Everybody else may just ignore them.
  10. Hold the Door Open for Others. Especially those that are older or are carrying too much.
  11. Don’t be mean to people for following their jobs. If people have a crappy job they are allowed to not be all smiles and joy. Everybody has bad days.
  12. Everything is bad when uncontrolled. And vice versa everything can be good if done in a controlled manner.
  13. Remember that you only see the Highlight-Reel of others. There’s an entire life they live that you do not know. Remember that everyone else also has 24 hours in the day.
  14. Always try to be Nice. You never know what the other person may be going through. Be the bigger person.
  15. No one is coming to do it for you - For some reason we all wait for that magic moment when everything falls into place. It will never happen that way. You have to do it yourself.
  16. People are not Against you. They are just for themselves.

For those who have geriatric friends or family members

PSA for the day:
After a week as a caregiver, I thought maybe I should jot things down.
For those who have geriatric friends or family members
1. All it takes is one fall
People always used to tell me, old people mustn't fall down. If they do, that's it. Well, it's not a blanket statement. It isn't true.
What's more important is after the fall. What measures to be taken? A full MRI scan, if you can afford it. Even if the person only has minor bruising, the injuries could be internal. The brain, the blood flow, everything should be checked.
2. There's a very thin fine line between confidence and ego.
Everyone thinks they're fit and healthy. Sure, no pains, no aches. And you feel fine.
You were a sportsman before, so what? Being active does help your body heal faster than not so active persons, but it doesn't give you a free pass if you need medical attention.
What the person must do is to instead adapt their mind to see and accept possibilities that they might need to do this or take a certain medication.
Because if their mindset doesn't change, then doctors cannot help people who don't help themselves.
3. Learn to occupy your mind.
The generation before us do not play online games or use their phones for entertainment.
Perhaps boomers are slightly better, but nowadays, the technology is available to help keep your mind active.
Physically, the human body has inner healing mechanisms to help it survive.
But if the mind is dead, then the body is just an empty shell.
Read different books, pick up a new hobby, do or learn something different, because if one day you need to stay at a hospital for a while, you will need to keep boredom at bay by yourself.
If you can be best friends with yourself whilst alone, you will survive anything that comes your way.
Those are the 3 points bugging me for the past week. If you guys have any other pointers, drop a comment.

How much time do you have left?

If you don't develop the courage to do that which has given to you to do, or if you just go around trying to convince other people or get their approval, what will happen is you will lose your nerve, and other people will convince you that what you are doing doesn't have any value and you'll give up on your dream.
How much time do you have left?
When you start thinking about that you will realize that you don't know.
Most of us don't use the stuff that we have brought into the universe, so stop wasting valuable time in the wake of others opinions.
If you want something, you have got to be relentless.
You've got to learn how to become resourceful.
You've got to learn how to become creative.
The power to hold on in spite of everything.
In spite of every excuse your mind can conceive of.
The power to endure, this is the winners quality.
The ability to face defeat and failure again and again without giving up.
There's greatness in you!
And you've got to learn how to tune out the critics outside, and more importantly the critic inside!
Most people give up on themselves easily.
Did you know the human spirit is powerful?
It's hard to kill the human spirit!
You are unstoppable!
Live your life with passion, and with some drive!

#ThursdayThoughts

When you don't have money, you think money is going to solve your problems —and to some extent it does.
But at a certain point it brings its own problems with it.
Having money is like a having a child.
You have to care for it, you have to tend to it, and you have to watch it every minute!
You do this not only to make sure it grows, but to make sure it doesn’t shrink.
Money is alive and volatile!
That means I am constantly thinking about my money.
If you’ve never experienced it, it might be hard for you to understand.
Amazing feeling! But that’s what’s crazy. I mean, I enjoy all this stuff well enough.
But as far as my possessions go, honestly — and I’ve really thought about this — I get more pleasure from my FAMILY than anything else.
That’s the truth, the absolute fucking truth.
Materially, I don’t need much to be happy.
I already have everything I want.
What I am working for, if I am entirely honest, is just the thrill of making more money.
It’s like playing a game, a game in which the prize is power, the power that is represented by that money.
Power for what? It doesn't matter!
The prize is the power itself. It is the feeling of power.
There is a sensation I get when I make money… If you haven’t experienced it, I can only compare it to sex, or gambling, or a drug.
It’s exactly like that — maybe even better.
So my investments and my business ventures are like various casino games, except in my games the odds usually favor me…. And what I live for on a daily basis — this is the darned truth — is just the thrill of playing those games.
I first started to realize how fucked I was when I found myself thinking about other people’s professions in terms of the bottom line.
I mean, I have a pal from childhood who is a doctor, and I found myself thinking what an irrational job choice this was for him. He cares about money too, and I just thought, what a waste, how inefficient a use of his time and talent… there are so many better ways to make money.
Crazy, huh?
I don’t know what the hell it’s like to be a doctor, but I would guess there’s a whole level of meaning there that people get off on.
I am not sure I like who I am.
But I have no choice, no more than a lifelong drug or sex addict does.
I see businessmen bullshit themselves about why they are really doing it — you know, that they are trying to improve society, or it’s all for their family, or whatever other bull crap.
That could just be PR, but it also can be self-deception.
Don’t fool yourself, I think!
I know you!
You’re just feeding the monkey! … So, that’s my story.
I am not entirely proud of my life, but I accept it.
I try to be as comfortable as I can, to have as much fun as I can, but I’m not in denial about anything.
I know I’m basically just a junkie living for the next hit of MONEY.

Life comes with problems, get used to it

For the past 1 year, it seemed like life was crumbling. Reflecting back.
For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin -- real life.
But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be got through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid.
Then life would begin.
At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.
Life always brings problems.
We really can't live without them.
And so it helps to shift our perspective.
We can stop trying to avoid the problems.
We can stop feeling victimized by what's happening.
Instead, we can consciously work with the challenge of the moment to learn more about ourselves and the world.
When we make this shift in attitude, we discover ourselves to be strong and powerful.

Every lesson is a widening and deepening of consciousness.
It is a stretching of the mind beyond its conceptual limits and a stretching of the heart beyond its emotional boundaries.
It is a bringing of unconscious material into consciousness, a healing of past wounds, and a discovery of new faith and trust.
Restart building a new foundation for your life.
Clear blocks and transform your life
