A list of my thoughts, lest I forget what I was thinking at that particular time. Always been a reader, now it's time to scribe.

Are you going to be an example, or a warning?
Whether or not we realize it each of us has within us the ability to set some kind of example for people.
Knowing this would you rather be the one known for being the one who encouraged others, or the one who inadvertently discouraged those around you?
I think this every time I set out to achieve something and also when I do anything in front of my kids,

Leadership
The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but
not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but
not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be
humble, but not timid; be proud, but not
arrogant; have humor, but without folly

Choice of attitude
I believe the single most significant decision I can make on a day-to-day basis is my choice of attitude.
It is more important than my past, my education, my bankroll, my successes or failures, fame or pain, what other people think of me or say about me, my circumstances, or my position.
Attitude keeps me going or cripples my progress.
It alone fuels my fire or assaults my hope.
When my attitudes are right, there is no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream too extreme, no challenge too great for me

In Perfect. In possible. In YOU!
Another gem by Bob Perks
By Bob Perks
In Possible.
In You.
There was a commercial many years ago for a sphaghetti sauce.
Trying to push the fine italian ingredients, it claimed "It's in there."
All the goodness. All the freshness. All the Italian you would expect.
"It's in there!"
The same can be said about all the great things we want in our life.
"It's in there."
We make plans but we waste so much time waiting for all the elements to be perfect before we begin.
The day you are waiting for is today. You'll never find another more perfect day. Every day is perfect in itself. Yesterday was and tomorrow will be, too.
All the ingredients are there. So, the day is in fact "in perfect" agreement with your plans.
It's 24 hours long.
You might think that what you dream about is impossible to do.
If it were easy, it wouldn't be a dream it would be a task to check off your to do list.
It is a part of this perfect day. It is possible to do. So, it is "In possible" agreement with with your plans.
Imagine the folks at the sauce factory all standing around waiting for perfection and possibility.
The shelves are filled with all the right ingredients to make the sauce, but no one does.
Everything they need is there. No one takes action.
The boss comes into the warehouse and sees them all standing around doing nothing.
"What are you waiting for?" she shouts.
"Perfection!" one man says.
"Someone to make it possible!" another adds.
She steps up to the highest point in the factory and shouts, "You! You have everything it takes to make it possible because you are perfect for the job."
They look at each other in disbelief.
"Everything you need..."It's in there!" the manager adds. "Look around you. You have everything you need."
Grab a calendar and a marker. In the box with today's date, write..."It's in there!"
Then do the same for every day this week.
Nothing can stop you if you believe you have everything you need to succeed.
Nothing.
Now, stand in front of a mirror. Look at yourself and say, "It's in there!"
In perfect.
In possible.
In YOU!

Staff management
Hiring a new recruit today.
Why?
Because our client will want to see a person who's motivated.
How to motivate your staff?
This way:
In order that people may be happy in their work, these three things are needed:
1. They must be fit for it
2. They must not do too much of it
3. And they must have a sense of success in it
