  1. Staying unoffended is a life hack. It’ll help you tune the signal over the noise

  4. Reflect & observe. Reflect on your life situation, decisions you’ve made . “Am I moving in the right direction” , should be the critical question!
  5. Create a budget. Invest in assets. Have a backup, always!
  6. You’re a powerful person if you go through things alone & come back better,
  7. When your efforts are failing again & again, take a break, analyze the mistakes , come back stronger,

I’m Not Happier Because Life Got Better

Recently, I’ve noticed a strange undercurrent beneath otherwise normal days. At stoplights. During work. Standing in the kitchen, doing nothing in particular.

It’s not sadness or anxiety. It’s awareness. Of time. Of how quickly moments arrive and disappear. Of how rarely we notice them while they’re still here.

At first, I assumed this was just grief finding another way in. It wouldn’t have been the first time. Missing my dad still comes in waves, unexpected and inconvenient. Certain songs. Certain games. Certain silences.

But recently it’s been different. Thinking about death wasn’t pulling me backward. It was pulling me into the present.

At first, I thought that maybe it’s because I’ve been feeling the lesson every parent has told me about how fast it all goes. And with that comes urgency. Not the frantic kind. The quiet kind. The kind that asks a harder question:

Am I only enjoying my life because things are good right now?

Because if that’s true, it’s fragile. Temporary. Built on conditions that can change without asking your permission.

When you stop waiting for life to feel meaningful, you start noticing that meaning has been quietly accumulating all along.

This is quieter than that.

It’s the recognition that these might be the good old days. That this version of your life — imperfect, unresolved, unfinished — is not a warm-up act for something better. It is the thing.

And when you truly see that, something shifts.

You don’t just feel grateful in hindsight. You feel it in real time.

You notice the ordinary moments while they’re happening. You don’t rush past them so quickly. You stay a second longer. You listen instead of waiting to talk. You look up instead of down.

Presence sneaks in through the side door.

What surprised me most is that this didn’t arrive because life suddenly got easier. If anything, the opposite is true.

I have relationships that feel strained and unresolved — ones I care deeply about but haven’t figured out how to fix. I carry burdens that haven’t lifted. Physically, I’m dealing with aches and limitations I haven’t experienced in more than twenty years. Some days my body feels like it’s negotiating with me instead of working with me. 

So what changed? It wasn’t my circumstances.

It was my perspective.

After years marked by loss, disappointment, and a kind of quiet exhaustion, I’ve learned something I don’t think I could’ve learned any other way:

Hard seasons don’t just steal from you. They teach you what’s worth keeping.

The dark days sharpen the light ones. The sad days give happiness its contrast. Without them, joy becomes vague, something you chase instead of something you recognize when it’s sitting right in front of you.

And when things finally tilt even slightly in your favor, you’re ready. You don’t miss it. You don’t postpone your appreciation. You’re there for it.

That’s the paradox: presence doesn’t come from everything being okay. It comes from knowing everything won’t always be.

Once you accept that, even difficult days take on a different texture. They’re still hard. Still painful. Still frustrating.

But they’re alive.

When you stop waiting for life to feel meaningful, you start noticing that meaning has been quietly accumulating all along.

So is life suddenly great? Or have I simply learned to appreciate more of what I already have?

To choose looking up instead of down. To accept that today can still be my day, even if yesterday wasn’t.

To live with the understanding that tomorrow is promised to no one, which makes this moment — this conversation, this walk, — worth showing up for.

I don’t know if you get that kind of perspective without pain.

I hope you can.

But if pain is the price of presence, then the least we can do is treat it like a blue-chip stock: hold onto it long enough to see what it’s worth. Let it appreciate. Let it teach you how to live, not just to survive.

I don’t know what season you’re in right now. Maybe things are finally going your way. Maybe you’re in the middle of something that feels endless and unfair.

But I do know this: learning to appreciate what you have in the moment, not after it’s gone, has a way of making every moment feel a little more bearable. Sometimes even beautiful.

And that small shift — nothing flashy, nothing forced — might be all it takes for life to start feeling like it’s quietly, steadily, moving in your favor.

What are some unwritten social rules everyone should know?

  1. Take care of your looks, it does matter, cherish every body-part, every feature of yours’. It's harsh but the world is abit kinder for pretty-confident people.
  2. Don't avoid people arrogantly neither pay them attention more than they deserve. Know the limits.
  3. Be kinder to every people you interact with, believe me it gets return in 10 folds but yeah don't do that in the greed of return.
  4. Should never talk about someone's look , weight in negative sense , infornt or behind of them.
  5. For girls, it's not nice to take favor or benefits from friend zone boys. Keeping a distance is respectful.
  6. Don't bitch about your ex, at a given point of time, they were the reason of your happiness, respect that time.
  7. Never try to agree with someone, when they say they don't like some thing, that you love/like. Just say: everybody has different choices and it's fine
  8. For hindi speakers, when you met someone new , state them as “aap” not “tum” or “tu”.
  9. For dates, if he pays for restaurant/Cafe, girls try to pay for uber(if he don't own a vehicle) . If he pays for movie tickets, girls try to buy popcorn.
  10. For boys, pick up your girls for dates, try not to ask them to arrive alone at the place ( if you know them from prior, not the tinder date)…..like guys ,if you and your girl both are hosteller, try to pick and drop her from infornt of her hostel. It's attractive.
  11. If you confessed your feelings to someone and it turns to be a “No” from them, don't ever beg saying, just give me a chance(it's not a fuc*ing audition). They said it clear what they wanted to say. (It's better you weep in your room for few hours and improve yourself rather than begging to them)
  12. Don't show off, anything, anyone.
  13. Try not to bring money in between relationships, whether it's friendship or any relationship. Keep your deals clear. If you're not so close friend, and didn't hit the rock bottom don't ask friends or relatives to lend money
  14. Don't give advices, if not asked.

  1. A loaded bank account, a healthy relationship, & a comfortable life is what most people will like to have, but it’s not enough to live only, you must be determined to live for something,
  2. Never stop smiling, not even when you’re sad, someone might fall in love with your smile,
  3. Live the actual moment. Only this actual moment is life,
  4. Be forgiving with your past self. Be strict with your present self. Be flexible with your future self,
  5. Experiencing someone who completely understands you & relates to your experiences is like finding a treasure chest in the trenches of ocean,
  6. Life is a constant battle between you & your mental limitations. You should overcome yourself a bit more everyday
  7. If you’re not sure, the answer is “no”,

What are the things absolutely worthwhile in life?

 Can't believe I haven't blogged in 5 months!


  1. Learning to play an instrument. A highly rewarding experience that'll frustrate and delight you in equal parts.
  2. Taking risks. If you don't try, you'll never know. Plus, those who never made a mistake never made anything worthwhile
  3. Learning to drive. It'll give you independence and allow you to travel. If you can afford to do it, it's a no brainer.
  4. Watching live music, sports, etc. There's nothing better than supporting your home town team or feeling the buzz of singing your favourite songs along with thousands of like-minded people.
  5. Falling in love. We all know the deal with this one. It comes to most of us in one way or another and at various points in life. Just go with it.
  6. Having your heart broken. Yep, numbers 7 and 8 go together hand in hand, pretty much. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, eh!
  7. Pursuing new hobbies. If something interests you, give it a go! You never know where it might take you. It could even end up being your new career.
  8. Reading. We constantly see this mentioned and for good reason, too! Knowledge is power, and the more you have, the better off you'll be.
  9. Taking a walk. It helps to clear your mind and, in the right environment, it can reconnect you with nature. Plus, it functions as good exercise.
  10. Doing something random. You don’t say?! So, get out there. Give yourself a chance, and do something different!
  11. Writing. It doesn't have to be War and Peace, but try writing a blog, an answer on Reddit or Quora, or a post on LinkedIn. Get good at expressing yourself, as communication is key in all aspects of life!
  12. Travelling. Staying in the same town / city you were born in does you no favours! Get out there and see the world, even if it’s just to other towns and cities in your own country.
  13. Indulging sometimes in a guilty pleasure. And by indulging in a guilty pleasure I mean having a bar of chocolate or your favourite treat now and then. Keep it clean!
  14. Getting out of your comfort zone. We all get stuck in ruts from time to time. Sometimes, you've gotta get out of your cage, to semi-quote The Killers. You’ll do just fine. ;)
  15. Making mistakes. I know I alluded to this in no.2, but it really is important. If you don't make mistakes then you'll never try anything new.
  16. Taking time to recharge. Modern life is fast-paced and can be overwhelming at times. Take breaks and rest your body and mind.
  17. Learning to let go. Does this one really need explaining?
  18. Taking a moment to appreciate the small things. Take a moment to look up and appreciate the moon and stars; your family members around you, and the little things that make life worth living.

Happy 2025!

 I'm in near disbelief, because the past 365 days has probably been the craziest roller coaster of my life yet.

2024 started with dread, worry and fear. Getting me a few white hairs in that first 3 months. 

Then magic happened in April. And it just became better and better there.

Then the year ended so beautifully good. I've never been more grateful and totally immersed in gratitude.

I believe in the power of attracting what you truly desire and it worked so well. 

Here's to an even better year in 2025:

  1. Wake up early. There’s a different kind of peace in those hours that belong just to you.

  2. Find your version of prayer. Sometimes talking to something bigger than your worries helps them feel smaller.

  3. Move your body when your mind gets too loud. Your body knows the way back to peace.

  4. Write down your thoughts. They’re trying to tell you something important.

  5. Take five deep breaths when things feel heavy. Your breath has been keeping you alive this whole time — it knows what it’s doing.

  6. Sit with yourself, even on the messy days. Especially on the messy days.

  7. Keep a list of people who light up different parts of you.

  8. Notice what makes you jealous — it’s usually pointing to something your heart wants to explore.

  9. Pay attention to what draws you to certain friends. They’re often reflecting back parts of you that are ready to grow.

  10. Rest like it matters. Everything’s harder when you’re running on empty.

  11. Start a morning ritual. Create a container for the day that feels like yours.

  12. Do one thing daily that builds trust with yourself. (I’m doing 100 push-ups — find your own thing.)

  13. Talk to your parents about things that matter. The hard conversations are usually the ones worth having.

  14. Keep asking yourself better questions. The answers grow as you do.

  15. Let go of grudges. They’re heavy, and your heart needs the space for better things.

  16. Host simple gatherings. Real connections happen when we stop trying to make everything perfect.

  17. Read books that make you feel less alone. Sometimes the right words find you when you need them.

  18. Take notes on things that light you up. Your enthusiasm is trying to show you your path.

  19. Write to understand yourself. Not to sound smart, just to sound true.

  20. Walk without a destination sometimes. Some thoughts only find you when you’re moving.

  21. Take long showers when you need to reset. Some clarity only comes with hot water and quiet.

  22. Live more in today. Tomorrow’s worries can wait; this moment has gifts too.

  23. Focus on one thing at a time. Presence is a practice.

  24. Create something, anything. Expression is medicine for soul.

  25. Dress in ways that feel like you. Your body deserves to feel at home in what it wears.

  26. Reply to messages mindfully. Clear inbox, clearer mind.

  27. Take responsibility for the energy you bring. Some days that means being gentle with yourself.

  28. Lead with kindness. Notice how kindness changes things. Everyone’s carrying something we can’t see.

  29. Spend time in nature. Trees don’t care about your to-do list.

  30. Listen like you might miss something beautiful. You probably will.

  32. Work from new places sometimes. Different spaces wake up different parts of you.

  41. Track what you’ve done, not just what needs ot be done. You’re probably growing more than you realize.

  42. Build a small emergency fund. Peace of mind creates space for bigger dreams.

Malaysia is probably still the best country in the world

Robert Kennedy said: 

What we need in the United States is not division; what we need in the United States is not hatred; what we need in the United States is not violence and lawlessness, but is love, and wisdom, and compassion toward one another, and a feeling of justice toward those who still suffer within our country, whether they be white or whether they be black. ... let us dedicate ourselves to what the Greeks wrote so many years ago: to tame the savageness of man and make gentle the life of this world. Let us dedicate ourselves to that, and say a prayer for our country and for our people.”

This is a good saying for Malaysia.

I still know that it is the greatest country in the world.

There iss no question in my mind.

That’s the beauty of the Malaysia I know. 

Even in our darkest times, we find a way to see the light, no matter how distant it may be.

We believe that Malaysia will always find a way to be better because for nearly 50 years, even with horrible injustices, tragedies, and scandals, the arc of this country has moved upward. Don’t get me wrong: we have gone backwards, over and over again, but we’ve always found a way to get moving forward again. We are never perfect, but we always have a reason to be optimistic. We always find a way to move toward the light.

Today, too many of our fellow Malaysians have given in to darkness. 

I see people choosing pessimism and hate every day.

We can blame the social media companies that created algorithms to amplify negativity. We can blame the foreign governments who make every effort to divide us.

But that’s the easy way out. I always tell you that the path to progress requires discomfort.

We need to look in the mirror.

This search needs to happen in our own hearts and minds.

The big social media companies and our adversaries can only drive wedges between us because we’ve chosen to see each other as enemies, instead of as fellow Malaysians who have different ideas about the best policies to move the country forward.

This is our choice. We hold the power. We will be the ones who cast the die.

Today, I want all of you to reflect on the Bobby Kennedy quote I shared.

Sit with it. Think about whether you’ve lived up to it. If you haven’t, commit to rejecting that savageness that is inside every single one of us and choosing the path of love, wisdom, and compassion for your fellow men and women.

That is the choice each of us has to make. We can choose to turn toward the light once again.

This is up to all of us. This is our choice. We have the power to choose the better angels of our nature. Don’t wait for anyone else to make the first move. Be better, today.

Transitions and truths

 Whether we like it or not, things change. Life moves, and it's dynamic in such a way that it's complexities keep the wheels of time turning. And just as we get oh so comfy in our seat at the table the sand starts to shift. 

We seek stable ground. 

But sometimes that keeps us holding onto what we've got even though it's expiring. The tighter we hold the more sand starts to slip through our grasp and...

There's always another patch of earth to stand on, but still, we delay. 

We're too comfortable where we're at and too scared to let go. 

Because who will we be on the other side? 

The brave ones, they make the leap early and often. 

Others make the leap begrudgingly, somewhere along the way.

And some hold on to the bitter end. 

But here's what we know, and we know this from past experiences...

Everything that was bad at some point turns good. The rough start at work, the challenge speaking on stage, the difficulty of starting a daily writing habit...

All of the good stuff comes after a transition: We fear the decision, we fear after we make the decision, and then we look back and say, "I'm so grateful that happened" – for all the growth and all the learning, and being on the edge.

Suddenly when we're somewhere new, we're someone new, and everything is alive. Like when we travel, a life with new experiences is rich with scenery, presence, and new learning. 

It takes courage to jump on cue, but maybe not?

Maybe it just takes looking back, and seeing how when we delayed, we delayed the inevitable. 

And why delay, when life has more transitions for you ahead if you just get through this one?

Going through as many transitions as you can.

Isn't that the point?

Rhythm of life

 Enjoy this moment. Somewhere something you’re doing is going well.  


The bed you lay down in is warm and comfy.  

Your tea is perfect.  

You step outside and feel the sun.

At this moment things are good.

Exhale...

A problem or obstacle is coming. Of this I’m sure.  


We can simultaneously see what’s good, and expect the next challenge.

This bed is comfy but you must get out of it.

This tea will soon be cold.  

Today’s win is the moment before tomorrow’s loss.

This is the rhythm of your life.

Obstacle, and Achievement.

Comfort, and Discomfort.  

It’s easy to be swept into this like a tide, caught off guard with each new wave that comes, good or bad.  

Happy when times are good.

Shocked when times are tough.

But that would be a mistake in not seeing this game for what it is.  

Having awareness of this rhythm, we can come to understand it.  

To savor the good moments while knowing it’s temporary.  

To expect the obstacles to come, and laugh at their arrival.  

It's like your problems are knocking at your door, and you can try and hold the door shut.

Or you choose to let them in.  

Because both are the same coin.  

The error is in your perception of duality.  

In seeing them as separate.  

In getting hit by waves you aren't expecting.

  4. “ More lives have been destroyed by being in a relationship than by being single “ . Stop stressing about relationships. You should be stressing about getting into a relationship with the right person ,
  5. “Everything happens for a reason “ is myth . Better, fix yourself and you’ll fix your world ,
  6. “You need to have a purpose in your life” . The fact is our purpose is in no way limited to our work or what we do do for money . It’s much bigger than that . It’s the standard you hold with your presence ,

Everyday the 12 steps

 1. Wake.

Open my eyes. No alarm. Let my brain engage. Stretch. Sit up. Embrace the day slowly and joyfully.

2. Pray.

Thank God for another wonderful day to wake up to. And then I do wonderfully.

3. Fill.

While getting ready I give thanks for all the blessings I have. And pray for the ones I desire. And start with confidence.

4. Love.

I wake up my wife with a kiss. Let her and me know love still exists. Love makes life rich.

5. Share.

Tweet, FB or IG. It fills me with fulfillment to share what I know. And helps me clarify my thoughts.

6. Help.

I head to my office. I’m blessed to have a business I enjoy and clients who are friends. I spend my day helping others achieve their dreams as I achieve mine.

7. Care.

Encouraging others and being encouraged.

8. Play.

Find something you love to play and do it on your free time.

9. Move.

Most days my wife and I take a walk and on the days we don’t I golf. Get the body moving. Catch up on the day. Stimulating.

10. Refuel.

We have dinner with our children and friends as often as possible. Or just the two of us will have dinner and watch Netflix. Refuel and enjoy.

11. Unwind.

As the day ends I climb into bed and read until I’m sleepy. Then drift off slowly in the way I’d woken up.

12. End.

As I drift off I kiss my wife good night. And give thanks for the gift of one more day that I got to enjoy. And look forward to another tomorrow.

I struggled for years trying to find happiness. When I finally found it I realized I’d had it all along deep inside of me.

A rich full life is made up of common but important moments.
